At the heart of JJP Mechanical Reps is a tight-knit, highly skilled team of 13 professionals who bring more than just experience to the table—they bring a shared commitment to excellence. With an average of 25+ years of sales and technical expertise, the JJP team combines deep industry knowledge with a collaborative spirit that sets them apart.

Rodney Franz began his career at Arnold Engineering, working on wind tunnel testing at Arnold Air Force Base—an early highlight in his engineering journey. He later joined Underwood Air Systems (UAS) in Nashville, quickly rising from sales to branch manager. Under his leadership, the branch flourished. In 2011, Rodney seized the opportunity to acquire the Nashville division of UAS, and JJP Mechanical Reps was born.
Rodney is a long-time resident of Brentwood who has called the area home since 1966. A proud graduate of Vanderbilt University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Class of 1982), Rodney brings decades of experience and deep industry knowledge to the business. Rodney’s life and business are grounded in his strong faith, which is reflected in his generosity, integrity, and commitment to service.
In 2024, JJP Mechanical proudly joined the AIR Control Concepts family, expanding our reach and strengthening our capabilities across the HVAC industry. This partnership allows us to provide even greater value to our customers by combining our trusted local expertise with the broad support, resources, and innovation of a larger organization. While our name and team remain the same, our commitment to quality service is now backed by an even stronger foundation.
